First Earth Kingdom Invasion

The First Invasion of the Earth Kingdom was an attempt to take over the Earth Kingdom Capital of Shu Shin She. The Fire Nation suffered many casualties and it was their first loss. The plan failed because a blabber-mouthed captain accidently told an Earthbender the plan.

The Battle[]

The battle started when the Fire Nation troops grew a large enough army to attack and have plenty of troops to stay and defend the homeland. Before the Invasion, a Fire Nation captain told an Earthbender the plan.

Blockade — The ferries provide a good defense. The battlements are behind them.

Fire Nation Navy Fire Nation Battleships charged the small Earth Kingdom Armada and the Water Fleet. The Earth Kingdom Armada's modified ferry boats were at the back of the fleet, blocking the canal that led into the city. Water Fleet wooden boats put up a good attack, but the Fire Nation's metal steam powered cruisers broke through. They were unable to get through the ferries.

Meanwhile, inside Sandbenders, who were ready to betray the Earth Kingdom and the Water Tribe, helped the other troops set up the defenses. Many Waterbenders were only cadets.

The ferries were boarded and soon taken over. Fire Nation troops broke through and the ships were blown up by mines. Only three ships escaped. The Fire Lord knew that he needed to be able to fly over the mines, ships, and walls some how to win the place.
